Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel has completed its hotel room renovations, as part of its multi-year, US$1.75 billion transformation project.
The hotel has launched a full inventory of approximately 1,850 rooms, including 775 suites – up from 180 suites prior to the revamp.
The Sands Collection – one of two distinct hotel collections launched under the transformation – was fully refreshed last week.

Designed to offer “an urban sanctuary in the heart of the city”, The Sands Collection spans 1,480 rooms and suites, from the Sands Premier Room to the family-centric Sands Family Suite, catering to wide-ranging guest profiles, with a Premium Services team attending to select guests.
The “ultra-luxurious” Paiza Collection, which features mostly suites, offers 370 “best-in-class accommodation” including three- to four-bedroom Chairman Suites, with 146” television, karaoke facilities and fully stocked kitchen; the two-bedroom Presidential Suite fitted out with a golf simulator loaded; and the one-bedroom Horizon Suite with a spa-in-a-city concept, comprising a Himalayan salt wall, hammam shower, dry sauna, private gym and two massage tables. Guests can expect round-the-clock service from a 160-strong Butler Services team – one of the largest butler teams in the world.

The next phase of the project will next see the launch of Jin Ting Wan, the property’s fully owned and operated authentic Cantonese restaurant, in July this year. Other refurbishments include LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar in the second half of the year. Also in the pipeline are lobby enhancements and a new spa.
The integrated resort recently welcomed its 500 millionth visitor and marked its 15th anniversary.
