Samdoo Corporation has purchased the former Quest South Brisbane at 50 Water Street, rebranding and relaunching the property as Hotel Diana South Brisbane.

Established in 1988 by Joseph Jin-Sung Kim, the privately-owned hospitality and real estate investment company also owns and manages Hotel Diana Woolloongabba.

Its accommodation portfolio includes hotels, serviced apartments and commercial properties.

“We are delighted to introduce Hotel Diana South Brisbane as a refreshed and revitalised accommodation experience,” said Samdoo Corporation CEO, Jospeh Kim.

“With Brisbane’s continued growth and the upcoming 2032 Olympic Games, we consider this property the perfect addition to our expanding accommodation portfolio.

“We are looking forward to welcoming our returning and new guests to Hotel Diana South Brisbane, while making a positive contribution to the city’s thriving hospitality sector.”

The 62-key hotel, located opposite the Mater Hospital, features self-contained studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, with guest amenities on site including a gym, outdoor pool and rooftop terrace.

Hotel Manager, Danny Friedmann said a guest-first service philosophy will be introduced to Hotel Diana South Brisbane.

“By taking a personalised approach to each stay and, through the building of genuine connections with each of our guests, we look forward to creating lasting memories that ensure our guests feel truly valued and continue to return,” said Friedmann.
