Accor’s design-driven hotel brand Tribe has marked its expansion into New Zealand with the opening of the 60-room Tribe Auckland Fort Street this week.
Located at 40 Fort Street, between the city’s waterfront and Spark Arena, the property features compact but stylish guest rooms, a lively lobby bar, on-site restaurant Sienna, as well as a grab-and-go counter.
Design details include sleek furniture, intuitive tech, soft lighting and bold interiors.
Established in Perth in 2017, Tribe was created for travellers seeking design-led hotels at affordable prices.
“Born in Australia, Tribe was created for today’s modern traveller – people who want beautifully designed spaces, vibrant social hubs, and a hotel that matches the pace of their lifestyle,” said Accor’s Chief Operating Officer in the Pacific region, Adrian Williams.
“We’re thrilled to bring Tribe to New Zealand, and we can’t wait to welcome Kiwis and international visitors to experience the brand’s fresh energy.”
On the food and beverage front, Sienna restaurant features a ‘So-Cal’-inspired dining and drinks menu, while a grab-and-go counter offers a range of salads, bowls, sandwiches, and snacks made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
