JetPark Hotels has launched a new 100% electric airport shuttle service in Auckland, available to guests from Saturday 1 November.

The company says the introduction of the Yellow Bus electric fleet reflects JetPark’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, innovation, and guest convenience. There will now be two Yellow Bus services operating, and JetPark guests will have a dedicated route that runs via JetPark and Ibis Budget, offering a closer pick-up and drop-off point at both the Auckland Domestic and International terminals, free of charge.

JetPark says key benefits for guests include:

  • A fully electric fleet, delivering quieter, cleaner, greener travel.
  • Closer airport access with the JetPark/Ibis Budget route, reducing transfer times.
  • Complimentary service for all paying JetPark.
  • Real-time shuttle tracking available on Auckland Airport information boards.

Stuart Thompson, Director of Sales & Marketing at JetPark Hotels, said: ā€œWe’re delighted to introduce a service that’s not only more sustainable, but also more convenient and still completely free for our guests. Our commitment to people and planet means investing in solutions that reduce environmental impact while making the travel experience easier and better. The launch of our electric shuttle is another step in that journey.ā€

The move comes as part of JetPark’s broader sustainability programme, which includes environmentally friendly practices across its Auckland, Hamilton, and Rotorua hotels. By switching to electric transport, JetPark strengthens its position as a leader in responsible hospitality, providing guests with the same trusted service while innovating for the future.
