Qantas has revealed it will increase capacity on its Brisbane to Port Vila, Vanuatu service up to daily from March 2026 until 24 October 2026.

The additional flying will more than double capacity between the two cities throughout the travel period, with over 35,500 seats on the route over the season.

The service will be operated by operated by a mix of E190 and Boeing 737 aircraft between March 2026 and October 2026.

Qantas Regional General Manager New Zealand and Pacific Islands, Michael Gulliver said the increase reflects growing demand from Australians to visit Vanuatu.

“We’re seeing strong interest, particularly from families and couples looking for a tropical escape that’s close to home and offers great value,” he said.

“Vanuatu has stunning natural beauty, authentic cultural experiences, and it’s just a short flight from Brisbane, which makes it an easy choice for a lot of travellers.

“We’re excited to add more seats and make it even easier for Australians to discover what makes Vanuatu such a special destination.”
