AHICE Fiji Islands has raised FJD$3150 for Nadi-based children’s orphanage, Treasure House Fiji, through a Charity Golf Day presented by Tappoo.

Over 20 hotel industry leaders took to the course at Denarau Golf And Racquet Club in Ambrose teams on Wednesday June 25 to play in the first-ever AHICE Charity Golf Game.

All green fees were generously covered by Tappoo, with Treasure House Fiji selected as their chosen charity.

Treasure House is home to children – from newborn age upward – who have sadly been orphaned through tragic circumstances such as desertion, neglect, abuse, and poverty.

There are currently 19 children in care – four of which have Special Needs. The 20-strong staff provide 24-hour care to the children in the home.

AHICE Fiji Islands commenced on Tuesday evening with close to 50 delegates attending a unique Winemaker Dinner in partnership with De Beaurepaire Wines.

Thursday will see a full-day conference with panel discussions, Q&As and keynote presentations.
