Crown Perth is expanding its food and beverage offering with construction underway on a premium wine bar.
Gladstones, named after Dr. John Gladstones AO, whose pioneering research identified Margaret River’s potential as one of the world’s great wine-producing regions, will be a celebration of Western Australia’s rich wine heritage and exceptional vintages.

Located between Crown Towers and Crown Metropol, Gladstones will seat around 50 people in an intimate and luxurious space with a warm design that is a fitting nod to the past.
“Gladstones will offer a truly exceptional experience for our guests, showcasing the best wines Western Australia and the world have to offer – while still being accessible to anyone celebrating a night out or a special occasion at Crown,” said Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira.
The carefully selected wine list will highlight Western Australia’s award-winning producers alongside a selection of globally acclaimed wines.
Dr. Gladstones’ daughter, Helen Gladstones, said the family is proud to see their father’s legacy and influence recognised.
“It’s lovely to see Crown recognising what he did – not loudly and not with fanfare – but with quiet conviction,” she said.
“That seed he planted changed the future of wine growing in our state, laying the groundwork for something much bigger than himself. I know he’d be quietly delighted to see how far it’s come.”

Gladstones will join the recently announced Urban Food District as part of Crown Perth’s largest investment in nearly a decade spanning food, wine and entertainment.
