Crowne Plaza Hobart has expanded its meetings and events offering with the launch of a new indoor-outdoor space.
Centurion Sky – named via a social media contest that attracted over 120 unique suggestions – features a glass ceiling, panoramic views and retractable bi-fold doors.

The hotel now offers eight indoor and outdoor venues catering to events of all sizes from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.
The August 28 launch was attended by more than 100 VIP guests and featured interactive activations including a champagne wall in partnership with Taittinger, Tasmanian shucked oysters your way, and hot Aperol Spritz cocktail served from the hotel’s pop-up caravan.

“Centurion Sky, with its unrivalled views of Mount Wellington/Kunanyi is the all-weather space that Hobart has been craving. I cannot think of a more perfect venue to showcase the very best of Tasmanian hospitality,” said Crowne Plaza Hobart General Manager, Scott Schaefer.
