How is Radisson Blu Resort, Fiji Denarau Island performing?
Fiji is a strong leisure market that has got stronger following Covid. Our resort has always been a high performing resort and on the back of the current market condition continues its market leading performance.
What can we expect from Radisson Blu Mirage Resort Fiji, opening soon?
Opening in 2027 we are expecting another very successful resort. The resort is located on an island within a short drive to the international airport that sits on a sandy beach on the ocean, spectacular views over the ocean to the west and mountains to the east. The island has a marina where you will be able to catch boats to nearby islands, the reef or even a transfer to Denarau Island. If you want to enjoy a premium resort with a pool to laze around or a roof top bar to watch the sunset, then this will be for you.
Is this a market that you are exploring further opportunities? If so, what locations are of interest?
Fiji has so many amazing locations that are perfectly suited for one of our resorts. We would love to find an exclusive island for our Radisson Collection brand or even our lifestyle brand RED. We also see great potential for a family friendly Radisson hotel on one of its sandy beaches.
What are your expectations for the travel and tourism landscape in Fiji over the next 12-18 months?
Fiji is naturally beautiful with amazing beaches, world class surf breaks like Cloud Break, picturesque mountains, all encompassed by a rich warm Fijian culture that makes you feel at peace as soon as you arrive. Fiji will continue to evolve as a premium island tourist location due to the destination that it is coupled with the ease to explore as you can safely explore Fiji and if lost there is always a friendly Fijian happy to assist.
