Popular television personality and Gold Logie winner Larry Emdur will return to host the 2025 HM Awards, presented by Sealy Posturepedic, in Sydney this November.
Emdur will take to the stage at the prestigious hotel industry awards at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on Friday November 21, following a stellar year which saw him awarded a Gold Logie in 2024 for Most Popular Personality on Australian television and a Silver Logie for Most Popular Presenter.
Emdur has been a constant presence on Australian TV screens for over 40 years, known for hosting some of the world’s biggest game show formats including The Main Event, The Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right, as well as top rating shows The Morning Show and The Chase.
He has also seen great success with his latest venture, a newly launched whisky, The Ben Buckler.
The single malt whisky was initially created for friends to mark 60th birthday celebrations but has since garnered much recognition in Australia and internationally, claiming two top awards.
Commenting on his return to HM Awards, Emdur said: “I’m really looking forward to hosting the HM Awards, it’s been a while… not only am I older and balder, I’m now also in the hospitality game, well sort of.
“Since I last hosted the event, I accidentally created Australia’s favourite new whisky.
“So, this time, if the audience gets a bit rowdy, I’m not going to get upset, I’m just going to quietly sip a glass of Ben Buckler whisky under the lectern.”
