Accor and its lifestyle subsidiary Ennismore will introduce two international hotel brands to New Zealand this spring, with the openings of TRIBE Auckland Fort Street on 14 October 2025 and JO&JOE Auckland on 3 November 2025.

The projects, owned by New Zealand-based CP Group, mark the local debut for both brands and expand the diversity of accommodation in Auckland’s CBD.

TRIBE Auckland Fort Street

TRIBE Auckland Fort Street will offer 60 compact guestrooms designed for short-stay urban travellers. The property will feature a lobby bar and communal spaces intended as a social hub for guests and locals. Located near Britomart and Commercial Bay, the hotel represents the first TRIBE-branded opening in New Zealand.

JO&JOE Auckland

JO&JOE Auckland will bring the brand’s hybrid hospitality model to the Southern Hemisphere, with 298 beds across 73 rooms ranging from shared dormitories to private rooms. Facilities will include a rooftop bar, communal lounges, and the “Happy House” common area.

Bunk bed rates will start from $50 per night, with private rooms available at higher rates.

Strategic Expansion

Accor Pacific COO Adrian Williams said the launches signal “a new era of design-led, socially connected accommodation” in the region. Reservations for TRIBE are now open via ALL.com, with JO&JOE bookings opening in September.

Accor operates more than 20 brands across Australasia and the Pacific, with CP Group among its largest local investment partners
