Ibis Perth has revealed a bold renovation that aims to redefine the economy hotel experience.
Drawing inspiration from Kings Park and Botanic Garden, the Swan River, and the Art Gallery of Western Australia, the new look hotel is a celebration of the city’s natural and cultural offerings.
All 192 rooms and bathrooms have been upgraded with modern furnishings, smart room technology, high-end fixtures and rainfall showers, while the lobby and social spaces have been recreated into a stylish social hub for guests to connect, work and relax. A new gym has opened to enable guests to stay active while travelling.
The hotel’s redesigned interiors incorporate locally sourced timber, earthy textures, and artistic elements that reflect the city.
“We are delighted to reinvigorate this hotel which will now offer a significantly upgraded guest experience in the central location that guests have always enjoyed,” said CDL Hospitality Trust CEO Vincent Yeo.
“Our extensive investment throughout the hotel has transformed it into a truly differentiated product in the Perth market.”
Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PM&E, Adrian Williams, described the reveal as a “fantastic moment for the Perth market”.
“Ibis Perth is in one of the most central and well-connected locations in the CBD,” Williams said.
“Whether you’re here for a business meeting, a shopping spree, or simply to explore the city, this hotel is perfectly positioned for you to reach all the places you need.
“This renovation has elevated Ibis into a top choice for both locals and travellers abroad. The hotel needed a fresh, vibrant look, and that’s exactly what’s been delivered.”
Ibis Perth will soon launch a new bar and social hub, Chelsea Social.
