Hotel X names new General Manager
Daniel Gerritse has been appointed as the new General Manager of Hotel X, Fortitude Valley.
Gerritse brings over 15 years of luxury hospitality experience to the role, including in sales, marketing, and operational leadership across major Australian hotel brands.
Most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Gerritse also held senior roles with W Brisbane, where he was part of the pre-opening leadership team, and Park Hyatt Sydney.
“Hotel X opened in 2021 as the flagship property to debut the Vignette Collection brand on the global stage, a design-forward hotel that has captured the spirit of Fortitude Valley from day one,” said Gerritse.
“It’s a privilege to now lead a property that not only helped shape the identity of the brand but continues to set the benchmark for luxury with personality.
“Looking ahead, my vision is to elevate Hotel X as a refined five-star destination, one that harnesses our exceptional location and vibrant character to deliver immersive, meaningful experiences that are unmistakably Brisbane.”
