New Zealand cricket commentator and former cricketer, Scott Styris, will take to the stage in a keynote session at the upcoming AHICE Fiji Islands Investment in Tourism Summit, hosted by HM Magazine.
Speaking as part of a full-day conference program at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Thursday June 26, Styris will talk ambition and leadership, on and off the field, in a conversation with AHICE Group President, James Wilkinson.
An aggressive right-handed middle order batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler, Styris made his debut for New Zealand in a One Day International (at Rajkot in 1999/2000) and his maiden wicket was that of Sachin Tendulkar.
He made his test debut in mid-2002 against the West Indies in Grenada, where he batted at number eight and top scored with 107.

He will join a line up of stellar speakers from the hotel, aviation and tourism sectors.
Delegates can expect keynote presentations, insightful Q&As, in-depth market analysis, and topical panel sessions featuring some of Asia-Pacific’s leading hotel owners, investors, operators, executives, advisors and suppliers.
Panel sessions will cover a wide range of topics including hotel and tourism investment, hotel technology, hotel operations, tourism, hotel design, development outlook, white label and sustainability and more

Commencing on the evening of Tuesday June 24, AHICE Fiji will welcome delegates to a networking dinner, providing the first opportunity to meet and connect with local and international industry colleagues.
This unique Winemaker Dinner in partnership with De Beaurepaire Wines from Rylstone in New South Wales will be led by De Beaurepaire Vigneron and Director, Will de Beaurepaire, inviting VIPs to engage in a fun evening of great conversation, food and wine.
In an AHICE first, a charity golf day will be held at Denarau Golf and Racquet Club from 10:00am-4:00pm on Wednesday June 25.
