Nominations closing soon: last chance to enter the 2025 HM Awards

Time is running out to enter nominations for the 2025 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, presented by Sealy Posturepedic, which will recognise the top hotels, resorts, departments and people across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Entries close on Sunday 31 August 2025, with the nominees being announced in mid-October.

Highly regarded as the must-attend awards night for the accommodation and hospitality industry, HM Awards recognises the industry’s brightest stars across a range of categories from people and projects to standout properties.

Each year the awards receive over 1800 nominations, highlighting the breadth of talent within this thriving industry.

This year’s winners will be announced at the 2025 HM Awards Aotearoa-Pacific ceremony at Cordis Auckland on Friday October 31 and then at the 2025 HM Awards Australasia Pacific gala presentation evening at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on Friday 21 November 2025. 

Now in its 23^rd year, HM Awards is co-hosted by Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, powered by Torrens University Australia, fbm, FutureLog and HostPlus.

New category announced for the 2025 HM Awards

The 2025 HM Awards sees the addition of a new award for Human Resources Initiative.

This new category recognises the most impactful human resource initiative across the Australia and New Zealand/South Pacific hotel and accommodation sector. 

The Australian winner will be awarded in Sydney, while the New Zealand/South Pacific winner will be awarded in Auckland.

Tickets are on sale for the 2025 HM Awards, which has events in both Auckland and Sydney.

Numbers are strictly limited for the Aotearoa-Pacific event, with the first batch of tickets recently released.
