Outrigger Hospitality Group is slated to open its five-star Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort in early 2026, as refurbishment works continue on the former Zeavola Resort.
Set on the northern tip of Thailand’s famed Phi Phi Island, accessible only by boat, the resort overlooks a secluded white-sand beach and the emerald Andaman Sea.
“Phi Phi Island is the epitome of tropical paradise,” said Outrigger Hospitality Group President and CEO, Jeff Wagoner.
“Its natural beauty and cultural depth make it the perfect setting for Outrigger’s distinctive brand of barefoot luxury.

“The debut of Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort brings us one step closer to realizing our vision of becoming the world’s premier beach resort company.”
Taking inspiration from the Thai concept of “Nit Thra” (the soul of rest), the design aims to reflect balance, calm and restoration, with handcrafted furnishings, natural textures, and woven motifs that honour the Urak Lawoi sea community.
The resort features 63 suites and villas, two onsite dining venues, a pool zone and wellness spa and gives guests access to a range of cultural experiences, adventure sports and kid-friendly activities on the island.
The resort’s food and beverage offering includes Mala Kitchen, showcasing the flavours and fragrances of Southern Thailand, and The Edgewater Bar and Grill, which will serve up freshly grilled seafood, aromatic curries and tropical cocktails.
