Accor Vacation Club has completed a AU$3 million renovation of The Sebel The Vines in Western Australia’s Swan Valley.

Led by Australian interior design studio, Mel Porter Design, the new look has been inspired by the natural landscape, viticultural history, and warm palette of the Swan Valley, with earthy browns, warm greens and light sandstone colours.

All apartments have been updated with new stone-look French-laid flooring, corner couches, new bedheads, stylish lighting, and timber and sandstone vanities, benches and tables, and bespoke artworks honouring the region’s winemaking legacy.

“This renovation is part of our commitment to continually upgrade our spaces to ensure our members experience the highest quality accommodations wherever they go,” said Accor Vacation Club CEO, Craig Wood.

“Whether guests are visiting for a romantic retreat, a wine weekend, or a family escape, every apartment has been transformed with the perfect balance of style and comfort, while providing a strong sense of place.”

Locally sourced materials are at the forefront of the design, from hand-finished joinery to limestone features.

Quality used furnishings were donated to local charities, and suitable timber and stone was repurposed to minimise environmental impact.

“The design language is all about warmth, connection to the land, and the feeling of home,” said lead designer, Mel Porter.

“We wanted each apartment to feel like an extension of the valley itself – welcoming, comfortable, and luxurious in an understated way.”

The project follows the completion of refurbishments at Travel and Leisure managed properties across Perth and South West WA, including a AU$6.1 million refurbishment of The Sebel Busselton, unveiled earlier this year; a soft refurbishment of Club Wyndham Perth, and a AU$5 million refurbishment of Club Wyndham Dunsborough last year.
