Walt Disney World has released resort room-only discounts for Summer through Christmas 2025 for Annual Passholders and Florida residents offer savings of up to 35% off most dates October 11, and some dates through December 22, 2025. This post shares the details of these special offers, best dates to save the most money, plus sample pricing, commentary, analysis & other info.

In case you’ve forgotten, there’s currently another special offer for Annual Passholders that runs between now and July 31, 2025. Generally speaking, this newer discount is better–not because it’s a higher percentage savings, but because there are lower resort rack rates for the post-summer off-season in the second half of August and September than there are for summer months–but May does come close.

Those aren’t the only deals available for booking right now–just the various special offers for Annual Passholders and Florida residents. For everything else, see All Current Walt Disney World Discounts for 2025. That covers promos for the general public, Florida residents, military members, and everyone else prior to the latest round of deals for August and beyond. So that’s worth checking out if you’re debating a trip in the next several months…

Per Walt Disney World, here are the deal details: Annual Passholders can stay in the magic and save up to 35% on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels this summer and fall.

This offer is valid for stays most nights from:

  • August 1 to October 11, 2025
  • October 20 to November 1, 2025
  • November 17 to November 24, 2025
  • December 6 to December 22, 2025

At a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can enjoy the same legendary detail, storytelling and service found in the theme parks—along with an array of benefits.

Here’s the resort by resort Annual Passholder room rate discount chart:

Annual Passholders must present a valid Walt Disney World AP at check-in. Additional per-adult charges may apply if more than 2 adults per room at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts and Studios at Deluxe Villa Resorts. Maximum length of stay under this deal is 14 nights.

Offer excludes the following room types: 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Bungalows and Penthouses at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Deluxe Rooms at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, 2-Bedroom Villas at Disney’s Beach Club Villas, and Suites at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels.

You can book this Annual Passholder discount yourself on Walt Disney World’s official website here.

Likewise, Florida residents can save up to 35% on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels when you stay 4 consecutive nights or longer in late summer and early fall. Plus, enjoy other savings for shorter stays.

This offer is valid for stays most nights from August 1 to October 11, 2025.

Here’s the resort by resort Florida resident room rate discount chart:

Proof of Florida residency required at check-in. Otherwise, same terms & conditions apply as the AP deal, including the resort and room category exclusions. You can book this deal on DisneyWorld.com here.

Alternatively, if you want to take advantage of either discount but want someone else to do the work, we’d recommend requesting a FREE no obligation quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and having them book for you. They will happy to assist you with the planning process, help you choose the most economical dates, best add-ons, and so forth. Notably, they also monitor reservations and can retroactively apply new discounts if a better deal is released to save you more money.

Here’s what we found for best available rates for this Annual Passholder discount:

This search is for the night of September 3, 2025, which is part of the “Value” rate season at Walt Disney World. On the rack rate chart spectrum, this is one of the cheapest times of the year to visit Walt Disney World in 2025. Similarly-priced dates can be found in the last couple weeks of August and early September (minus Labor Day weekend).

With that said, rates do vary on different days of the week. Friday through Sunday nights are all going to be more expensive, and less consistent. In general, Friday and Saturday will be the most expensive days of the week, with Sunday through Thursday costing less–but still more than Monday through Wednesday nights. Holiday weeks are also more expensive. Basically, room rates are higher any time when kids are out of school.

For more on timing your trip to coincide with the lowest prices, see When’s Cheapest to Visit Walt Disney World in 2025? That covers price increases and other variables that impact the cost of a vacation beyond just room rates.

My assessment this discount is pretty positive. It’s tough to compare all of the 2024 vs. 2025 charts since they’re not apples to apples, but this deal was very good last year and it’s mostly on par with that or an improvement. There are some resorts that offer 5% off more, with All Star Sports falling into this category.

I had hoped Walt Disney World would release a 35% off deal for Floridians and 40% off deal for Annual Passholders, and this isn’t quite that. We did get 35% off for Florida residents, so that’s great…but only with a longer stay, which seems unlikely to be the way most Floridians will stay. (For reference, 30% off is the normal discount for Florida residents for this timeframe–so the 35% off for longer stays is best viewed as a bonus, not a limitation.)

The biggest winners with this special offer are resorts that were in last year’s 10% off tier. These were the ones where pent-up demand hadn’t quite exhausted itself (or so Walt Disney World thought). That category included Beach Club & BoardWalk Villas, Port Orleans French Quarter, and the Polynesian. This year, all of those resorts are in the 30% off or 35% off tiers. That’s a huge difference, and better discounting is precisely why the Poly and POFQ made our list of the Best Hotels at Walt Disney World in 2025.

One positive, though, is that Annual Passholders did get dates beyond October 11, 2025–when the rest of the room-only discounts end. Our expectation is that there are more discounts to come for a broader selection of these dates, which would make this a bonus. Conversely, I guess it’s also possible (albeit exceedingly unlikely) that this will be the only discount for those travel dates if bookings are strong. But given everything, that strikes us as unlikely. There’s no reason to believe Halloween and Christmas bookings are strong when nothing has been announced. (Now, if the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights return…)

Just look at the list of prices above. There are sub-$100 Value Resort prices, and $135 for Pop Century in the summer is unheard of. Moderates are in the sub-$200 starting range is great. Several other Deluxe Resorts in the $300s and $400s per night! That’s all really good, and much better than what Walt Disney World was offering in 2021-2022.

This is where it really pays to be an Annual Passholder. Florida resident rates are still very good, but not quite as attractive. Also, there’s the requirement that you book longer for maximum savings, which just isn’t realistic for locals, most of whom probably prefer shorter staycations. Honestly, you’d probably better book well before then for the AP rate, too, as Walt Disney World has developed a habit of pulling discounts early in the last couple of years once they’ve hit occupancy targets.

This is particularly true if you’re traveling during any of those dates in October, November, or December. We’d recommend booking ASAP, because in all likelihood, availability is very limited–and it’s possible that the next time discounts for these dates are released, the savings won’t be as substantial.

If you’re still not sure of which hotel to book, be sure to check out our new Rankings of ALL Resort Hotels at Walt Disney World from Worst to Best. Several of the resorts with the biggest savings are in the top 10!

Another thing to keep in mind is the restoration of free parking at Walt Disney World resorts. For those who are driving or renting a car, there’s also the added bonus of not having to pay for parking. Most off-site hotels still charge for parking, so that’s something to consider if you’re debating Disney hotels or something at Universal Orlando, Flamingo Crossings, Disney Springs, Bonnet Creek, etc.

Speaking of on-site perks, don’t underestimate the value of Early Entry and (potentially) Extended Evening Hours. We’ve found that many fans dismiss the former due to it being “only” 30 minutes, but we’ve found Early Entry to be incredibly advantageous (see our Guide to Early Entry at Walt Disney World).

For those who are eligible, Extended Evening Hours is absolutely fantastic (see our Guide to Extended Evening Hours at Walt Disney World for strategy and other info). We wouldn’t recommend booking a Deluxe or Villa Resort just for Extended Evening Hours, but if you’re on the fence or thinking about a split stay…it’s a good idea. Consider putting that money towards upgrading your accommodations instead of something like After Hours.

Oh, and don’t forget the return of the on-site advantage of ride reservations. If you’re going to purchase the new line-skipping service, having the 7-day window (plus length of stay–up to 14 days) is huge. It’s probably going to be make-or-break when it comes to booking Slinky Dog Dash, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and other headliners. See our Lightning Lane Multi-Pass at Walt Disney World FAQ.

Ultimately, if you’re an Annual Passholder who is eager for late summer getaway to Walt Disney World to see Disney Starlight Night Parade (and even though we don’t yet have an official opening date, it’ll debut by August 1 barring a catastrophe) or to use WDW as a home base when visiting Epic Universe, these deals are really strong. That aggressiveness might be explained with the second part of that previous sentence. Here’s hoping that Epic Universe puts the squeeze on Disney and results in more deals like this–and better ones!

You can still do better with Disney Vacation Club Point Rentals, but the gap is starting to close and it’s too late to rent for most of these dates, anyway. We will continue to closely monitoring discounts as they’re released and will notify subscribers of our free email newsletter when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored!
